CAST : Hera the cleric Stormwind the ranger Franklin the tortle kensei AAAAH the fighter Marvolo the fire wizard Nightshade the half-dragon sorcerer Gwen the mage Group sent to Nesme by Arithel. Need to get to the Dungeon of Ruins and recover the next piece of the Rod. Stormwind leaves the group. Group heads out on the road. Encounter 1 - large skeletal creature chases some dwarves out of the woods. Battle ensues. A group of lumber jack cat people intervene. Group continues on. Find an abandoned wagon. Coffin in wagon - opened to reveal Gwen, vampire mage. Group continues on. Find another set of wagons that have been attacked. Scorch marks and burnt oxen indicating some sort of fire attack. Tracking indicates a number of attackers and something giant sized. Road north to Dungeon of Ruins followed. Attacked by a group of spyder fiends. Group continues on. Come to a valley that looks to be the Dungeon of Ruins. Session ends.
